A
portrait is perhaps one of the most personal gifts a person can
give. It is a gift that is an honor to receive. Helping
to design a portrait so that the desired effect is achieved, is one
of the favorite parts of my job. In making a portrait, it is
important to know for whom the portrait is intended, where the
photograph will be displayed and information about the subject /
subjects of the portrait. Knowing this assists in matching
color schemes, styles and locations so that the portrait makes the
statement you want to make
If
you think about it and try to recall what someone looks like (who is
not in the room) our memories most frequently recall a picture of
the person rather than the person in life. Consequently,
portraits become more valuable with time. Making a portrait
makes a memory. Think about that when we set up your portrait
session. The result is a positive energy that really comes
through in a photograph. |
